Other Information of Interest to Arizona Road Cyclists
- PDF
Map of Bicycle Routes in Maricopa Count
This is a very large PDF file showing bicycle paths and streets suitable for
cycling in the Greater Phoenix area. The map can be downloaded to your
computer for future reference, and a printed version can also be ordered at
no cost.
- ADOT Bicycle and Pedestrian
Program
Lots of information about the Arizona Dept. of Transportation's bicycling
program including maps of state highways with bike-able shoulders,
shared-use routes throughout the state, tips for commuting, bicycle laws,
and numerous other cycling resources too numerous to list here.
-
Tempe in Motion
Information about the construction of multi-use paths in Tempe and
occasionally information about bicycling events in Tempe.
- Velo Asana
Velo Asana is Bryan Flaming's cycling blog. Bryan rides with various cycling
groups, mainly in the Phoenix area, and maps their rides. Are you looking
for a new route? Bryan may have found one for you.
- Jack Quinn's travel
blog
Admittedly, this blog has no relationship whatsoever to cycling. However,
some readers asked me to blog my hike to Santiago de Compestela in Northern
Spain in July and August of 2011, so I complied. If
have trouble falling to sleep at night, reading this just before hitting the
sack may do the trick.
